Problem:

1994 Honda Accord 4 Speed Automatic -
Car will not start after being driven for 10-25 minutes.
If car sits for 10-15 minutes or sometimes longer car will then start.
Car has also died at a stop light and had to sit for 10 minutes before it would restart. When car does not start the check engine light comes on and the car cranks but will not start, the gear indicator on the dashboard will show "P" with a red box around it indicating the car is in park,
but will also show a green flashing box around the "D" drive even though the car is in park.

Whats wrong, what part or parts can cause this if they are faulty.

 

Check for stored codes....

Then a little more detail. When the car won't start. You turn the key to on - pos II - does the CEL come on and then go off....

 

can anyone help me out here,first time im using this website..didnt know how to post a bulletin..umm my cluster light on my 94 accord is out and i have no idea what it could be..i tried the fuses,i changed the cluster lights (all of them) and nothing is happening,the only thing that works is the gas,seat belt,srs,battery lights work nothing else..does anyone know what could be the problem?

Check and test the dimmer switch/****...

 

how many miles on car? proly ur cat. my old car did the same thing till i just removied the cat.

 

I had an issue like that and it turned out to be my transmission control unit...
