$2000 for my 90 si with an ls swap. Needed a car fast for a dd. It failed at being a dd. That's what I get for letting my brother check out a car instead of me. I think the car was worth about $200 in scrap money when I bought it.
paid 800 for my 90 si with a bad motor. car came from cali no rust. dropped in my jdm d15b and away i went. my DD
Yeah my car is rust free. Just when I got it the wipers, brakes, turn signals, heater, cluster, headlights, taillights, rad, and radio. Thats the short list of either did not work or were broken and needed repair right away. After one week of ownership I had to take two days and swap the whole wiring harness. Then another day to swap the entire breaking system from front to back including new front calipers, lines, pads, rotors, and master cylinder. Then a used rad from a friend. Oh and the car leaks water up front really bad. Hunted for leaks but cant find them.
paid 1800 for my 90 dx hatchback that was strait no rust good paint with an h motor online jdm b16a with ls webs just needed tires and new shift linkage. i am pretty happy with the deal i got
900 for my 91 Crx si (mostly unmolested-Tokico Illuminas + 2.5 exhaust only upgrades AND it came w/ JDM B16A Y1 LSD "extra" engine) I "Forest Gumped" ran the swap home 1st after paying,ha ha... My 88 sedan was a gift from an EX GF. (oh,and both my EFz are tuned for Tom Thumb 93 octane!)
My first 91 std I traded a running 92 geo metro for a wrecked 91 ford probe and a 91 civic std with a "bad clutch" that ended up just needing the cable adjusted
My second an 89 std I bought for $200 with a bad distributor.
My third a 88 crx si I got for $350. It needs some minor body work (rust blegh) and alternator from sitting and a few other minor things.
And even though they are not ef's I also got a 92 lx sedan and 94 vx hatch for $350 each lol. The lx needed a main relay and the vx had a lot of miles and would not pass PA inspection any more.

i traded my multi colored 87 supra hardtop with a blown motor for a 90 si with a blown brake line and crap load of rust. just sold it last week for 500 bucks and kept the gsr rims that were on it lol.
Wow judging on what I'm reading you get what you pay for...hence I sold my 90' Civic Si in July for $5,800 with a stock B20. With the condition of my new 89' Si I would have easily paid $4k but I got lucky. I sold my low mileage Mitsu 3000GT with the intention of buying an 89' Si lol

so i'm happy
