Default b20v exhaust

Hello
i know there are ton of similar threads but i have a specific question
currently i am running 2,5" with a dc header replica in verry bad condition
my setup is
b20b block 11:7:1 cr
stock rods with arp bolts
b16 head with type r cams and valve train ,blox cam gears
aebs intake,64mm tb,370cc injectors
i am aiming at the 190-200 whp range
my question is is 3" exhaust good for me because it appears on 200+whp builds
i am ordering a big tube replica

Thank you in advance guys

Yes even if you had a stock b16 I would recommend a 3 inch system. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need back pressure for our motors to function properly.

got the car tuned today and it made 180hp/184nm @the weels
i kinda hoped to go above 190 but that is still on the 2,5 exhaust with the shity header
i am waiting for my big tube to arrive and will dyno it again hope to see some gains

Good deal. I assume nm= newton meters? If so that about 136 ft lbs of torque.(for those of us who are a little math challenged)

Get a good header with a 3 inch exhaust and you should be able to get 190 whp out of it.

one more question guys
my header arrived but i was told that my car will loose a big amount of power in the lower rmp range due to the huge piping
Please let me know how different did you fell your cars in the low rpms 2-3500 after installing 3"
Thank you
