b16 owners! how bad does your steering wheel rattle?
im not used to it, it vibrates what looks like 1/8 inch and when i turn on all my accessories, the colum rattles bad. i got about 500 miles on my b16 swap in a 90 si with Hasport mounts. anyone else having chronic rattles?
i have about 200 hundred miles on my swap with hasport mounts and am still tuning and adjusting here and there ,and i think alot of the rattles, vibrations and things have to do with the mounts being so stiff!im sure jdm sir's when they were made didnt have as stiff a mount as hasport does.just my opinion.plus stiff springs on a 13 year old car dont help!

i hear enough noise from rattles now im just curious how bod other people have it as i previously drive a 94 del sol VTEC and am not used to the "old skool pheel"
its all to do with the mounts. compare the sloppy rubber OEM mounts to the billet HASports with Poly bushings... much stiffer

My car's too lean at idle, so it dips down 7-800 rpm idle... Shakes pretty good from lack of fuel/not enough timing... I'll find out soon
you guys with the hasport mounts have urethane bushings in your mounts, that helps ur car idle even rougher. My mount kit has rubber bushings and it still rattles like hell, steering wheel rattle? my whole car rattles!
oh well its worth the HP boost from 67 hp (HF) to 160hp

I am using the billet hasports and I don't have much vibration at all. Although I do have the street mounts. They do have race mounts that are much stiffer and I could see them causing a lot of vibration.
well you have to break in the mounts first...i have place on mine broke it in its ok...but if you have frame damage or a minor front end hit it can mess up how the engine sits...thats why sometimes it vibrates alot more even when its broken in...screw the mounts just weld the damn things!
hope that answers some questions later guyz
