Default obd0-obd1 questions

i have a few questions on switching the dpfi-mpfi and the obdo-obd1 conversion for a d16 vtec swap ( first swap)

can i just get a vtec obd1 engine harness and call it a day i already have the jumper and ecu?

90 si tranny or y7 tranny hydro?

can i get some info on dpfi-mpfi

no. you need to do one of the following:
1. convert your stock harness (the one from YOUR car, not the motor) to MPFI;
2. once it runs fine, convert to obd1

or

if you are uneasy about wiring, pm myself or Clipsed, we both make plug n play conversion harnesses.

just getting an obd1 vtec harness will not work, your stock harness needs to be modified to work. plain and simple.

keep the si trans. itll be easier than fitting the parts to convert it to hydro

If you go this route, I can personally vouch for Clipsed. Not saying crx_si-r is a bad guy, just never dealt with him. Bought MANY parts from Clipsed when I was in the middle of my build, great guy and very easy to deal with
