my ac dont work blow hot air its 2001 civic lx and i dont hear the clutch thing like people telling me any info well help ...

 

Have you tried this?
Checked fuse #1 (20 amp) under the hood?

Checked fuse #14 (10 amp) under the dash?

Have the pressure checked?

Checked the A/C compressor clutch relay?



Start with those.

 

does you a/c clutch have this? this part that goes on the clutch held by a nut could be the reason why its not working.

 

no i havent checked yet i check it when i get home

 

i checked all the stuff listed on top but the clutch doesnt spin or make any noise at all.. and when the ac is on isn't the condenser fan sopose to spin also??

 

Have the pressure checked. If the pressure is to spec, test the pressure switch.



I also highly recommend that you buy a Helm's manual. Eliminate the guesswork.

Ok my clutch part fell off last week too.
Does anyone know where I can buy this part of the clutch only?
Carquest or AZ?? maybe?
It looks like the pulley could fly off also.
Any suggestions on where to find this part and the correct nut would be appreciated

 

You can buy them at a dealer, or just get one of a junkyard compressor.
