I just recently (2000 miles ago) got a new clutch and axles.
The problem is that in second gear at around 2500 rpm my car begins to shimmy and shake, and in third gear at around 2000 rpm. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

seems like somthing is out of balance. Well, my first question is did you do the clutch job yourself? Brand new axles? From where? what kind of clutch disk? DId you torque everything down to specs? Axle nut torqued? Year, make, model? Did you happen to rotate tires at the same time?

 

its your axle. your cv joint is out or the axle poped! check it! auto store axles are junk and unsafe if you ask me! auto zone ect.. just get one rem. from the dealer!
