I have a 91 civic si i bought as a shell, i finally got around to putting a motor in it and everything works fine, but i have problems with high and low beam lights, my driver side high beam works fine but low beam gets no power at plug, my passanger side is opposite my low beam works but high beam gets no power to plug?? Also another problem is that when i turn lights on at the switch it takes 2 to 3 seconds for parking/headlight to respond?

Any help/imput is appriciated

 

Maybe weak battery for slow response, other than that it just sounds like a couple of the wires aren't connected.

 

^^^ and check to see if its grounded properly..no mickey mouse cut and tape wires and fuses

 

I will double check the wires and fuses tonight i checked them yesterday looked like there was some wires cut before for jdm front headlights but they were put back by colors, car has usdm front now

 

I would definitely go with checking the wires out then.

 

Ok got the headlights to work, still takes few seconds for cluster and parking lights to come on, like I can turn headlights on and parking lights come on few seconds later.

 

Have you checked for a weak battery?

Yes I have swapped battery out of my EK

Checked connector at fuse box did not fix problem, still takes few seconds for parking and dash lights to come on. Any others ideas?
