Any more info on the setup? Pistons, rods, etc?

Well, my particular setup doesn't belong in this section because its a boosted setup.

Stock Z1 , prb intake, supertech seats/springs/retainers. Custom T4 divided manifold, GT4088r w/ 4" DP. 1000cc RC injectors. 18psi on E85 runnng Kpro. Made 370whp for about 1.5 years and had just been retuned on E85 making 480whp for about 2 months. Only the block and baffle plate were wasted, oil pan, oil pump, crank and head all fine.

All motor,Pure road race car - Swap since 2007. Used K20A3, K20A, K24 and more... Other than burning alot of TPS sensors initially and binding one axle. I have not broke anything, just spun a few rod bearings here and there.

Timing chain tensioner broke after off in the block within 200 miles of getting my swap running. Lesson learned: don't make large purchases from shady people over the internet. There were numerous things wrong with/missing from the swap that I bought, including a dead ECU.

I bought another shortblock that I was going to just swap in and leave stock, but I ended up deciding to throw pistons and rods in it, and ended up with a fully built 2.0 liter.

Bent some valves due to over-rev (learn to drive, nub) but got to pull my motor out and rebuild the head... dropped in some cams, dual springs, retainers, .5mm over, mild port/polish, RBC intake : D

Broke my TPS on the dyno... bought the k-tuned aluminum TPS...

TPS sensors without a doubt are the most wide spread problem amongst K-series users. I started a whole TPS thread on k20a just to solve the problem and thanks to that, Ktuned is using that thread as a marketing tool and selling sensors like mad. I still prefer the REAL honda OEM sensors, it is the aftermarket OEM knock offs that are the big problem like BWR and Omni.

To be perfectly honest, I still havent gotten mine quite right... I tried the BWR and the Omni and had quite a few problems... I have the ktuned sensor on there now, but theres still an issue... seems like at very low throttle, the car balks and randomly misses... almost as if theres a hole in the kal for that range...

I prefer OEM stuff as well, but the only way to get an OE TPS is to buy an OE throttle body... and Acura is very, very proud of that thing ($$$$)
