Default type r rear sway bar vs. comptech/eibach/suspension techniques

I did a search and got some answers but not what I was looking for. Is the type R comparable to the comptech/eibach/or suspension techniques? THis will be going on a 96 gsr. Which one is the best?

I have the ITR rear anti-sway bar on my 95 GSR, I love it. BUT, if I had it all to do over again. I would have gone ahead and put a 25+mm bar on it. Nothing wrong with going bigger!

JDM ITR is 23mm and race bars are 25mm. Cant go wrong.

I have Neuspeed 19mm bar now. It's too small. I think 22mm bar is ok, but might be small too. I'm probably going with a 24mm adj. rear sway (either with 3 holes on the ends of the bar or some kinda "slider") at end of the year.

I have heard the type r is not a bolt on, requires some drilling. Anyone know if the comptech, eibach, or st is?

I have the ITR bar with a Beak's subframe re-inforcement kit sitting in my garage (waiting for springs and shocks) and from the research I did before purchasing it I found that the only difference between using a BSQ or Beaks kit w/OEM ITR bar and Comptech is that the Comptech bar comes with their custom swaybar/tiebar mount and adjustable endlinks. Do a search for Beaks or BSQ or ITR swaybar and you'll find a ton of info on this.

When I compared the prices I couldn't justify the cost of the Comptech bar. Can't wait to get my suspension upgrade completed.
OEM USDM ITR is 22mm, I think Eibach is 19mm and not sure how it mounts.

thanks for the reply. I guess you can order the new bar for like 60 bucks or so. Sounds like the way to go..
