What auto tranny fluid to use in 1st gen crx?
It's getting to be that time to change my automatic transmission fluid. All my manual says is to use "dexron" fluid. The problem's that there's dexron I, II, III, IV and so on and so on. How do you tell which one to use?
I've also read on other peoples threads that you should only use "genuine honda ATF" fluid?? If so, does the year of the car matter?
Arg... so many questions. Help appreciated!

I don't even know if there's anyone on here running an automatic in a first gen CR-X. Dexron III most likely though. I think castrol makes an import version. Normally i'd say use genuine Honda ATF, but i'm not sure how it'll work in something that old, especially now that it's synthetic.
I forgot to mention that my crx is an 84, and completely stock. Would be safe to assume that since my transmission is so old, it would be pretty forgiving to whatever I put in it? (like modern fluid?)
