I have an 05 stock base rsx with around 95k on it.. and anytime i Kind of mess around and beat on my car.. occasionally i get this annoying rattle noise if i come up to a stop light or something... even if i put it in neutral or if its in gear. its just this loud rattle. I havent checked my heat shields yet.. i just wanted to get more opinions on where to check so i can just do it all at once.

Since you didn't specify where the noise was coming from, i will assume it's coming from your engine bay or damn close to it. I would let it rattle again and stick your head out of your open door(make sure a truck doesn't come by and take your door and your head with it) and look under the car while you are still sitting. Is the car lowered? Did you buy it used?

 

yeah it seems like its neasr the engine bay. idk why i didnt say where haha. but no.. stock suspension.. and yes i did buy it used.
