I have a B18c5 i am planning on supercharging it not till next year.I need a clutch now cause my old one is slipping . I dyno at 200 whp!138twq i was wondering what would be a good setup cause? I dont want to be buying 2 clutches so i was wondering is there any way i can just buy one clutch and then be able to just put on my supercharger without having to buy another one next year that will hold with my set up now and hold up with the supercharger?

 

I use a stage 4 competition clutch. I ran it on my B18c5 prior to going turbo. Its a good clutch. It will suit your needs nicely.

 

What's your hp goals? The exedy stage 2 clutch would hold 250-275 easy.

 

what i was thinking. have seen more than a few turbo cars around 300whp using it. if i remember right torque capacity is something like 275ft/lb

it's also not a total on/off switch like so many of the other aggressive clutches.

 

^^^ True, On my turbo setup I had the stage 1 clutch and I was pushing 323hp and 268tq and it would slip in 1st-2nd but hold in high gear. So the stage 2 would be great.
