Hey guys,
I'm after some opinions here. Obviously the more clearance the better, but I'm concerned about my paintwork on the hood of my car.
I have a turbo manifold that clears the hood by approximately 10-12mm. The manifold is ceramic coated and header wrapped. I have removed the factory hood liner (as it sagged and rubbed on the manifold).
Since this is a new build - the car hasn't been driven for very long with the hood closed so I havent experienced the kinds of temps a turbo manifold might get to.
I'm interested in your thoughts on having the hood this close to the manifold?
Thanks!

Thanks very much for this info - I ended up purchasing some DEI Reflecta-Gold heat reflector. I will be doing the inside of the hood with it.
