i was wondering what my stock exhaust would sound like if i install a high flow cat??

I have a 2.5" Hi-Flow cat on my 2.5" exhaust system that has a WS2 muffler. Sounds the same to me but much more flow I guess.

 

wouldnt it sound raspy wit a high flow cat on a stock muffler??

 

X3, cat's aren't mufflers, though they probably do muffle some sound. The type of muffler will increase the sound, or even those things they add onto the muffler tip.

 

Why are you considering installing a high flow cat on a stock exhaust? It should sound the same. the flow wont be much better because your still being restricted by the small stock exhaust diameter. It will bottle neck from the cat-back.
