drivers side door dome light switch?
hello i am new here.
just acquired a 2002 civic ex 2dr.
the dome light is not working. pulled the rubber door switch cover off and no switch to be found. The passenger side works normal. Looking back in the hole and think i see a cable but can not get to it. I am trying to remove the interior panels to get to it but they are not coming off easily.
how can i find instructions for this?
It would be similar to replacing a seat belt. I have searched this site and other for 2 hours with no luck.
thanks for any help.
Our 95 civic dx died on Wednesday with 408,000 miles.

Remove the kick panel.
Remove the cover for the gas door / trunk lever lock, then remove the screw that is under the cover.
Remove the two bolts that secure the seat belt anchor.
Remove the door sill cover.
Remove the lower half of the rear seat. (might not be necessary)
Remove the driver's side half of the folding rear seat. (might not be necessary)
Remove the C-pillar cover. (the one between the rear side-window, and the rear window)
Remove the screw holding the rear passenger panel in place, then remove the panel.
I've never had to replace the switch, but I'm guessing that's how you'd have to go about getting to it.
