Hi,

I'm wondering if my quivering engine (Accord 4G, 1991) run results only from the EGR problem I read in the tech area. The symptons seems to be very likely as described there, although I have MT and not AT. (The engine F20A4 is very comparable to the F22 I think, except the capacity). Is there any other thing I can check? Last year I already cleaned the whole throttle body unit, without any improvements

Besides this, I have the problem that the engine bucks if you take away the gas at low RPM, and it bucks again if you start stepping on it slightly. What can be the cause of this?

Start with the egr ports. Are the normal tune up items up to date.

Any stored codes from the ECU?

 

A quivering and bucking engine sounds like bad motor mount(s).

 

Air Filter, sparks, distributercap are almost New, Not really bad. Ok, i will try the EGR thing.
