I would think that this would be your best bet:

http://www.aemintakes.com/search/pro...x?Prod=21-415C

it's for a USDM 1998 Accord 4 cyl

IMO, the closest one would be a 98-01 Accord or maybe a 97-01 Prelude. Just a thought and don't quote that on me.

Difference in sound, but not so much with power increase. 3-5whp I say. I recommend you getting a 3" Intake Piping with a good quality air filter. AEM's piping are way too small; 2.25". Or, you can always get the AEM V2 Intake which is pretty good I heard.

As you see from the photo from my previous post... I'm using the DOGHOUSE intake pipe with the MUGEN induction box. So I just wanna try any big different if I change into CAI.

If just change the pipe to 3", any filter recommend?
Or any other brand you would suggest to use?

Thanks!

My God this car is amazing! Yeah an AEM for your year car should fit, you'll have to stretch the rubber piece that connects the intake to the throttle body. Sound will be phenomenal but you won't see much power gains.

since you are from HK, cuz it is hot and humid there...
you can definitely feel the car has more power at top end.
(colder air from under the bumper)

One down side with CAI is it gets dirty easily and I know it rains in Hong Kong watch out for those huge water paddles. if you want one you might need to custom it or modify the one from prelude or US honda accord.

Personally i think you have a quality intake setup already, i would bother changing.

If you want to make more power go upgrade to
1. larger throttle body
2. EURO intake manifold.
3. maybe stage 1 cams

2 and 3 are suggested with ECU tuning at the same time.
good luck and let us know what you final decision!

Thanks for your advice.
For Euro IM, it already there.....the large TB is already in 70mm.
ECU changing to chipped P28 will be on coming weekend as need to prepare for the IACV issue....

For stage 1 cam, which brand will you suggest? need to change the valvetrain & retainer or not?

Maybe i can provide more information about my car modification...

1) mugen induction box (CAI)
2) Doghouse induction pipe
3) 70mm TB
4) Euro Intake manifold
5) Mugen 4-2-1 header
6) FEEL's catback exhaust
7) Ultra MDI ignition system
8) mFactory 4.644 finaldrive gear inside T2T4 tranny

Any suggestion on mod will be welcome

Yeah, you can use stock valvetrain with the stage 1. I don't see them making cams for the F20B though, are going to go with a H22 cam?
