Default 1996 GSR Crankshaft in a 2001 B18C1 Block

Might be a dumb question, but I'm building a 01 B18C1 block and I just picked up a clean 96 GSR crankshaft. Will there be any issue using the 96 crank in a 01 block? Reason why I wasn’t sure is I know the oil pumps are different from 94-96 and 97-01.........

No. you're fine. all Oil pumps for B-series now are standard P72.

it's what the difference was you might not be aware of calidad. 96+ had a tab for mounting the CFS sensor. that's why 96+ will work in all years but 94-95 will not work in an obd2 app. it's also i'm sure why honda only makes one now
