My Budget S2000 build
Well I bought this car at the end of January on Craigslist. It needed a little TLC because I bought it from a careless ricer but at least he barely drove it because he was broke. I bought it with a crashed door, a ricer wing, a ricer paint job, ricer wheels and missing seats with one gay a$$ fake recaro. This is how it looked:

Yea, it was rough but was worth it. It came with the hard top, cold air intake, ACT 6 puck clutch kit with a lightened fidanza flywheel. Replaced the door and also realized that I couldn't match the paint so I bit the bullet and painted it. Here's the beginning stages of the process:

Finally picked my color. Sargasso Green from the newer IS250.

Now she's finally ready to go home:

Finally loaded her up on the King Ranch to put it back together:

Picked up some nice rollers for the low low and she's about 90% put back together and ready to hit the road. I still need to put the door handles on, the rear glass for the hard top, some interior panels, tweaking of the suspension some more and servicing.

I think she's about done for now after all is done. I'm not really into all that jdm fan boy stuff... Splitters, flares etc. I prefer my cars simple and clean. Heavily considering boosting this car. I have a kit that I was going to use for my 500hp EM1 build that might make its way to the S instead.
I'll update more pics later because I need to figure a way to secure this damn hard top better from the inside. Right now it's secure but a little ugly i.m.o. I'd like to get input on that once I can take a picture.
Special shout out to everyone involved in this build:
Randy Torres B.K.A as the sole mastermind of SERROT Performance Your a freaking genious!!
Rayboost for the awesome and yet economical paint job.

Thanks! I'm keeping the stretched look for sure. I don't plan on doing any drag racing with the car and it's primary use will be for joy rides from time to time on the weekends. It's not very practical as a daily driver.
trial user status, i'll be checking up.
did you tow your car like that far?, a few minutes is good but we have a torsen diff, when you tow a like that it cooks the diff, you can actually destroy it within 20 mins.
hows the engine bay looking?
great job so far!!

Thanks, man. Lol, this is a budget build so you guys won't be seeing any ccw or "real wheels" smh. These are XXR 521.
Thanks bro!
No it wasn't far thank god. I thought there was something involved with towing this type of vehicle but didn't even consider it due to the short distance. The engine bay is still sebring silver. I didn't want to pull the engine or do a cheap tape and spray job. It actually looks decent the way it is.

18x8.5 in front
18x10 in rear
offset I'm not too sure. My best friend (Serrot Performance) ordered the wheels for me. I know it was a custom request on the fitment and tires since Nankang tires are really hard to find in the size. Sorry if that doesn't help. I'll ask him and see...

Love the color and looks hot, nice work on the body. The design of the wheels really set the car off too! (I'm not a fan of the stretched tires but from the side profile it looks awesome)
