You didn't have that much body damage before did you? Was that done by the thieves?

yep, the theives did it all, except the dent at the front of the FR fender. that happened knocking fenders with the jetta the weekend before hyperfest.

In the first post I made about the car being for sale I said it needs a new hood, windshield, front bumper, and FR fender. Honestly, the hood might be able to be straightened out, and I'm almost positive the fender can be as well. the front bumper just tore through the holes that mount it, so they need to have those hole reinforced and it will go back in position. The windshield is done for.

Basically, all you would have to do is find a CRX Si in a junk yard and you could have the car running within a week. Obviously if you want it to be competitive in ITA you have to do a lot of work to the engine, but for somebody who is just starting in racing, it's a pretty cheap way to get on the track. I just want to get rid of it, I'm tired of dealing with it.

Where were you six months ago!

Kidding. Seriously, this is a good deal. Would have saved me a lot of time and effort (edit: AND MONEY!). Sorry again about what happened to it

i can't tell positively from the pictures but it looks like a dx body, i'm not 100 percent sure but i don't think the scca would allow a d16a6 in that body to legally run in ita, maybe i'm wrong, if so thats a hell of a deal to get going in racing.

It is a DX body, so by the letter you could be given a hard time in ITA. I never raced it in SCCA, but had no problems racing it in honda challenge, NASA PS2, or EMRA ST2. With minimum weights in the rules, there is no advantage over the Si.

I know I could sell it for more, but I just want this over with....
