Whats up guys! im having a hell of a time getting my trans to shift right!, I had a brand new ITR trans with a brand new cc stg4 clutch and it always grinded in gear and i took it out sold the trans and got another brand new ITR trans and brand new exedy stg 1 clutch kit and it still has a hard time shifting into gear. I know the instal went right and smooth. sometimes it will go real smooth other times its nothchy, i just need to know how to adjust the clutch pedal engagment! i took a look down there but im just confused on what to adjust, any help would be great like a how to video or pics to show how to adjust the pedal. car is a 98'' integra type r thanks.

Also the clutch engages real low sometimes like right off the floor! especially when im in trafic going up the freeway ramp! other times it will engage little before ]half way up like it should.

Im fustrated because mec shops are so shady these days! i went to this place called top tupe next to pann auto in c.a ! yea im gonna call you guys out!
I set up a apointment and they tell me my trans is shifting fine and they want me to leave the car with them so they can drive it for a weak! and the guy says he wants to drive it around to "replicate it" lol fn looser! he says "ill even park it in my garrage cause i know these cars get stollen allot !" wtf are you seriouse! this place looks pretty legit i mean theres a few civics a nsx and some bs cars in there but there obviously bsing me! after i drive off like whatever theres nothing wrong with my shifting right yea right!, it grinds into 2nd and its just random, i know theres something up with the hydrolics or the clutch engagment. it gets real low to the floor when it engages and sometimes it will shift in any gear perfect and sometimes the oposit just grinds in! whats the deal! iv been reading and heard if the clutch engagment is raised a lil it might help. but im stumped i changed everything! the ms and cs at the same time and bled the clutch a few times and upgraded the clutch line to a ss, changed out the brand new trans for another brand new one!, changed my clutch to a exedy stg 1 and it still feels the same. the only thing i can think of is that i didnt do is adjust the clutch pedal so if anyone can show me or help me in sd lmk thanks ht.

 

Hmmm...where did you buy the brand new transmissions?
It sounds to me like you didn't bleed the clutch line correctly or you have a leak. If the clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor and it's not engaging the clutch properly, that is most likely the cause.

If you're worried about taking the car to a regular shop, take it to the dealer.

I tried but they wont work on it cause it has a aftermarket clutch and also its got no cat

 

Put the cat on and take it to them. I don't see why they wouldn't want to work on it if it has an aftermarket clutch. I know most shops won't work on them if you don't have a cat though.
