Icon2 Hood in the the boot?

I'm going to take a road trip in the CRX and possibly pick up a hood. Has anyone ever hauled one in the back of a CRX? Will it fit with the hatch closed?

Thanks

Im not 100% but it should fit. Should have asked me 2 days ago and I would have tried as mine had been sitting in the grass for months. On a side note I have hauled a ws-6 firebird hood in my brothers 95 camaro. So a crx hood should fit in a crx.

Just take off your hood and go topless til you pick it up, or measure out or hood and then measure what room you have.

Good idea. I may try going topless. The hood is considerably wider than the rear of the car.

Thanks

yes it fits. i have done this more than 3 times. both the JDM and USDM hoods fit in the back. keep in mind it is dangerous since one of the edges that slopes over the headlights and down to the bumper (where the emblem sits) will rest right behind your head/neck.

Not everywhere, also if the distance is obviously not that far then it shouldn't be too risky. But yes, I should have also stated for you to check your local laws as I won't take any blame for your own grief.
