Default How did you fix your A/C problem?

I know this is an old post... but I'd like to take a poll to see how many folks were able to fix their A/C issue by either:

1. Replacing thermal protector (as was the solution in this chap's case)
or
2. Adding 1 ohm resistor to to transistor (as has been the solution in other folks' case)

Appreciate the input!

Tomorrow ill be switching the fuses under the dash and grounding the thermal red and blue/white wires to see if any of that fixes it. If not ill be back on here doing some more research.
