Default Which year trannsmissions will work for my '94 Ex auto?

Trying to find a replacement transmission for my car but don't know which years will work. I have seen 90-97, 94-97, 94-95, etc...

Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Thanks.

For the '94-'97 cars the direct replacement will be based on body type, Coupe/Sedan is one , Wagon is the other. 1-4 gears are the same, the wagon has a slightly lower final drive ratio.

92-96 Prelude will also work, as well as the 95-97 F22 Odyssey, but have lower gear ratios, Prelude uses the lower ratios for better acceleration, Odyssey uses the lower ratios for better mechanical advantage to move it's heavier GVWR.

90-93 Accord will also work, but require a change in the AT stud mount configuration and the transmissions themselves have different gear ratios than the '94-97.

Oh I guess I should have mentioned lol it's a 4 door. So any 94-97 4 door AT will be a direct replacement? That's what I'm going for. I just want to pull the old tranny, and slap a new one in

The Coupe/Sedans use the same transmission, so one out of either of those will be correct(gear ratio). When I picked up a replacement for the '95 EX Japan Engine did not have any Accord transmissions in stock. They had the 'MPJA' which is a Odyssey transmission with lower gear ratios. The cruising rpm is higher than what it was before. 70MPH was ~2700rpm, now its ~3100rpm.
