I’ve noticed lately my driver side door has been very randomly locking on it own. I’ve tried a few times to duplicate the problem in the driveway wiggling the key opening and closing the door etc and it never happens.

I’m assuming the problem is in the actuator or I have shorting wires between the door and the body. I’ve also noticed the passenger door does not lock when locking the drivers door like it’s suppose to. Other than these problems the door locks seem to work fine.

The car is all stock no alarms or keyless entry add on.

 

My buddy had a similar problem only to find that the car did have an old alarm system in it. We found the alarm hidden deep in the car when we removed the dash from car, once we unhooked it, the problem went away. the installer did a really good job in hiding the system.
