car paint help
ok so i want to paint my hatch but i can't think of a good color to go with. my hatch is currently original silver with cf fenders, hood, front lip, and trunk and i don't want to paint my cf parts either. so what would be a good color to go with and i don't want to paint it black or white so any other colors them those two. also if you can get me pics of the color i would really appricate it. thanks hatche
If you're going to stick with the CF parts you really need to get a dark color so the Carbon fiber color isn't such a stark contrast.
A dark orangey/red, mineral grey, black, etc. You just need something that absorbs a lot of light.
Anything reflective like silver or white just makes the car look like you've used cheap body parts after a wreck and can't afford to get it fixed. A darker color will make the CF look more natural. Honestly I'd paint it as close to CF as possible. Some kind of really dark grey. And definitely make sure you paint the side skirts and door moldings as well, will look a lot better than having CF -> nice paint -> honda black plastic
