Hey I'm bout to purchase a 88 lx sedan it's dpfi and if I was to buy a Crx si harness would that make it mpfi?

just google or even search on here theres PLENTY of info. The wiring isnt hard and I hate wiring.

Yea same here I hate wiring, that's why I thought if i did a harness swap I'll be fine lol...by the looks of his sig^^ it looks real simple

If your looking for a plug and play set up this will work but will be a little more pricey... you can get a si underdash harness and engine harness make sure it for the years of your car so make sure you get a 88-89 si underdash and engine harness since you have a 88.. then simply remover your underdash harness and repllace it with the si one and then the si engine harness will plug in and your done no wiring involved except for unpluging and pluging stuff back in

That's what I was thinking...was to use the complete harness dash + engine...and then would I still have my power windows?

nope, you willl have to hack the si harness up to make your own mpfi harness, did it on my sedan had to eventually just wire all of the injectors straight to the ecu, along with the distributer aswell. then i converted to oobd1 its alot easier to diagnose problems that you will run into. Dont trust alot of forums im not sure which one i was going by at the time but it wasnt correct get you a 89-91 service manual from honda and read the wire diagrams worked the best for me

Complete blue lx sedan shell for 600$ clean title slammed on hx..idk if I Shud pick it up yet? I'm going to drop a Ls in my Crx and use my d16a6 for te sedan if I buy it.
