just started up my b18a1 and the idle is around 3500 and climbs to about 4000. what could be the problem? the air hole in front of the throttle plate is pulling air, if I block it it drops 1000 rpms but still idles near 3000. also the plate is fully closed

 

its getting air from somewhere to idle that high check your vacuum lines etc! does it drop to 1000rpm and stay or jump back to 3000?

 

its starts at 3500 then climbs to about 4200 and stays around there. if I block that hole tat goes to the fitv, it goes to about 2500-2700

 

What is you loosen or remove your accelerator cable?

 

cleaned the iacv and fixed the fitv but still idles at 2500-2800
