92-95 eg auto to stick help
ok i did the swap on my eg (auto to stick). done this before with no problem till now....the tranny, flywheel and pressure plate came off of my 95 d15b7 motor. i installed all the parts to my 93 d16z6 motor that had a auto tranny. i removed the auto tranny and torque converter off the z6 and replaceed with the manual parts...swap is done but wont let me go into gear. everything works fine. the hydro clutch system is working and alot of pressure behind the clutch pedal. so me and same friends are thinking maybe just maybe what is stopping the tranny to go into gear is that my clutch does not work or line up with my z6.
so are there any difference between d clutches?
thanks you for reading and helping

All '92 - '00 D-series clutches are the same. (actually back as far as '90 are the same except for the throwout bearing are the same and at least as far as '05 they were still using the same disc and pressure plate)
so that maybe thats my problem...i picked up a clutch set from a local autozone and the clutch and plate looked the same, but i didnt even think to look at the throwout till this morning as i walked into work...so the the new bearing may be a lil diff. from the one i removed.
thanks i will try that out and post if it was a go or a fail

It won't go in at all? Does it grind when you try to put it in 1st with car running? Will it go into 1st with the engine off?
Normally if the clutch isn't disengaging fully it'll grind when you try to put it in. If you can't get a gear with the engine off, I'd look at the shifter.
