can i use a 2002 rsx type-s cv joint on my 96 civic ex coupe?

the whole point of this is not to get a replacement part, i wanted to get something more durable.

actually you know what i did! i kept asking around and i ended up going to a kragens auto parts store and bought a pair of axles for $137(both left and right) with a lifetime warranty! soo that means unlimited axles each and every time they break on me
Sorta. It really depends on how often you break them. I know here NAPA stopped warrantying axles sport compact weekend at the track one year after someone brought back about 6 in one day. If you aren't racing stock axles last a really long time, if you race or do a lot of reverse doughnuts you'll be replacing them a lot more often.
Yeah I was about to say, alot of stores offer the lifetime. IIRC Oreillys honors their's pretty religously. There's a local guy who has a CRX that was both turbo and supercharged on a D series of some sort. He busted axles about every 4 runs at the track and brought them back over and over with no complaints.
