I'm sure a lot of yall are already aware of this, but I figured I would post it for those who aren't. Bridgestone is offering a $100 American Express rebate card with the purchase of select sets of tires, one being the Potenza RE-11. This is great timing for those of you who need a fresh set for EXPO. Looks like the offer expires at the end of April, so don't wait too long.

I got this same rebate last year for my RE-11s and didn't regret it. Makes me wonder if I should buy new tires this month even though I don't need them yet... Tempting...

I ended up with ADVAN AD08s. I think the RE11 is an excellent tire, but the AD08 seemed more well balanced. It was also cheaper by like $80ish? per set without the Yokohama rebate that I got with them.
If you need tires or are close to needing them and they're on sale, it might be a good idea to get them now and put them in the basement or something for later. I believe there's a price hike on tires that's up coming.

That costco sale has been extended into may, btw.
It ends up being an awesome deal, actually. Installed, balanced, nitrogen inflated, liftetime rotations/balances, flat repairs, amd a road hazard warranty for right around $550-600, IIRC....with the sale.

I'll admit that's its not absolutely essential or quite as awesome as they say it is....but its also dry gas. Which means dramatically less pressure delta for changing temps. Dry nitrogen also means less rim corrosion since nitrogen isn't an oxidizer...and it's dry. Nitrogen also leaches out of the tire liner slower.
Yes...I know atmospheric air is ~78% nitrogen. The drying out part is what makes a big difference.
