tailgate upper seal--need a pic
I removed the interior of my DC2 and headliner as I refresh everything and noticed a piece of rubber had fallen off and was basically resting just inside under the upper tailgate area visible only when I opened the tailgate as I was cleaning the dirt off around the weatherstriping. See part #5 on diagram. I need to know where this piece goes (I bought a new one) as I am not sure if I need to remove the tailgate completely to install it.

Pretty sure that attaches either to the top edge of the glass, or to the metal around the top and covers the top edge of the glass.
It glues to the inside upper edge of part 6 ( the rubber frame of the glass). I don't understand the reason for that strip really. It doesn't seal anything. It's just an additional lip that extends forwards from the top of the rear glass.
Yeah, thats the thing, it was just out on the metal edge resting there completely out and loose without anything there to hold it so it puzzles me. Anyone has a pic of that seal IN PLACE?
Is there anyone on this forum that can open their DC2 tailgate and snap a pic of this seal as it seats under the upper edge of the glass? I keep looking for clues in that area and cannot see any.
