My 89 CRX SI restore
I have loved the CRX sence I was a kid when they came out with the new style in 88 I just had to have one. Never had the money. Then got married ,had kids . Then after 11 years of being married my wife gave me the OK to get a project car. O ya i had to get permission. less fighting that way lol. I drove 4 hours to get this one. and traded my 98 Blazer for it straight up. Ran great on the way back, untill i got to half a tank of gas and then just stalls, fill it up and runs fine. So as long as I fill it up every 75-100 miles runs great. Welcome to the journey of my project, sit back relax and enjoy the ride . 9:10 4/12/2011

Well the previous owner I think had a degree in redneck auto repair, after starting to strip everything, looks like they filled the panels with expandable foam sanded it and bondoed over it. Sigh!!!!!!!!!
Looks like I will be finding a new parts car uggg

When I’m done it will be my daily driver. I’m wanting it to be fast buy reliable. I’m thinking of going maybe B18C GSR maybe 10psi turbo. Not defiant on that part yet though. I still have time before I decide.
Check out my thread, I feel your pain

I forbid you from going turbo until you figure out what '10psi' really means and understand that turbo and reliability don't really fit in the same sentence.
Your de-ricing is fantastic so far!
Can't wait to see how you deal with the rear.
Thanks for sharing. Did you already drop old fuel tank? I'll bet something happened with the fuel pump pick-up. It's not too bad of a job. Getting the hoses off the tank from the filler can be a pain tho.
So your saying a fully built B18C GSR and tuned correctly can’t be a daily driver on 10psi? Why? or you just saying that "turbo and reliability don't really fit in the same sentence." I mean no biggy Im deffently open to ideas on this project.
Nope have not replaced the tank I’m hoping that I’m going to have time this weekend to do it. I coach my daughter’s softball team and we have practice, but I think Sunday will be the day. I even bought a new walbro 255 fuel pump and a better pickup. The one that came with it was tiny so I picked up a better one.

brake light gotta go, tail lights gotta go. Who ever had it really riced it up.
