NEED HELP - '01 ITR - P0132 code
Hey guys I need some help I've been trying to diagnose a problem with my ITR.
'01 Integra Type R, virginly stock.
Here's what is going on:
- Randomly threw a P0132 code
- Drove a few miles with the light on, car bucked and hesitated a few times.
Here's what I have done:
- Checked code with NAPA's bullshit scanner, before making a 1 hour drive to my dads shop.
- Mac Tools scanner checked the code again, still a P0132.
- Read the data stream with car running, o2 sensor locked at 1.25 volts.
- Replace o2 sensor with a NGT brand from NAPA.
- Another tech put a 7,000 dollar snap on scanner on it and said the mac tools scanner was locking the reading in, on the new scanner I saw it fluctuating from 0.8-1.6 volts and when the car is shut down it shoots up to 3.89 volts.
- He seems to think the ECU might have been damaged when the o2 sensor went bad, like it short circuited and sent power back to the ECU the wrong way.
- I also checked the wiring harness under the intake manifold from both the top and from under the car on a lift. No exposed wires, the wire loom doesn't appear burnt or damaged.
- I unplugged the ECU let it sit, 2 minutes later CEL.
Anyone have ideas?
