Thinking about gutting the rear interior.. I have a nice rear strut bar i want to put in. Dont really want to cut up the panels...

Can you guys post some of your gutted rears?

 

i don't have a gutted interior but i'm almost positive you don't have to cut up any interior to put in a rear bar! there are two panels on each side that bolt up to the shock towers. try that!

 

if you open up those two panels, youll see there isnt suffient room to bolt the strut bar in without cutting it out a lil.

gutting your rear interior is pointless. i had mine gutted for a few weeks but put it back because:

it looked like crap
the exhaust was WAYY too loud
it didnt do a dam thing
it looked like crap

i put mine back in recently. dont gut the rear unless youre going to gut the rest of the car as well. its not worth it.
