How to lock vtec a vtec pin in place.

Hi.

Can someone please post a very detailed DIY for this?

Reason being is I have a B16a but vtec's not engaging and there's no ecu light on.I basically checked everythihg and this is the last thing that I could think of.

I first need to make sure the pin is there, then apparently there is a way of putting it in or something.
