When I drive it wants to choke out or almost die out. I would have to pull over and let it sit for a minute then start going again. Then today while i was driving on the highway i turned my HIDs on it almost shut off completely and i couldn't give it gas at all. Turned the hids off and pulled over sat again then started going? Some of my friends said it may be the alternator and told me to check it by letting the engine run while i take the negative off the battery. Which i did and the car kept running. So he said the alternator is fine. Would it be a bad battery? I checked most the grounds i changed both battery terminals. I also put up a thread here about my car not starting sometimes but i just ordered a starter so i hope that helps that issue. But i can't figure out why my car wants to die/choke out sometimes. Thanks in advance for the help.

Also when i start rollin like first or second gear. When i accelerate feels like its going out then out of no where it goes. Almost feels like im hitting V-tec at 2-3 RPM.
