There is no good turbo set-up for an EM2 that includes an EMS system and retails for between $2000-3000, if you already have k-pro then you can assemble the parts required to go turbo yourself pretty easily in that price range.

try to find a whole k20a2 motor, trans, ecu and swap the D17a2. You can find them low mileage for about the same as those turbo kits.

For your own sake, DO NOT BUY A TSI kit. Do a quick search on either on here or civicforums.com and youll see why alot of people went with a custom setup (dezods kits also suck btw)

Yea, I would piece it out as well. I'm in the process of that with my EK hatch and an LS/Vtec setup.

I personally owned a turbo EM2 and its really not worth the time or hassle. You definitely need K-Pro and injectors, manifold, WG, BOV, All the oil lines, gauges exhaust, turbo, fuel pump, regulator, converted fuel system, etc. Add all this up and take that money and buy a better platform to turbo.

To each their own. After piecing together a kit, I decided to get another car instead so Im with you but I know tons of people with boosted D17's that wouldnt trade it for anything
