Default need ideas on rear bumper mounts

on my 90 crx SI when i brought it home i noticed that the rear bumper was hanging thats what u get for $700 lol so i removed it and someone removed the mounts that are under the tail lights. i cant find this part anywhere so i want to make my own mounts and some kind of bumper bar in the rear so if i get rear ended my car doesnt crush. any ideas? ive called all my local junk yards no one has a crx maybe someone knows another honda that has the same mounts or something close? this and my sun roof are the last two parts i needs for the car for it to b ready to drive

that **** needs to be welded on...or get some 3"x8"x3' pine and some 2"x6" and about 6 carraige bolts...then ur bumper will outlast ur car!!! Ha!!

You can custom fabricate metal brackets or wood is easier to work with and build up something at the correct height to support the bumper. This guy welded up something nice to mount his inercooler but thats the general idea.



here is what the factory rear bumper support looks like.






jdm ef7 bumper support - basically just light metal straps (super light)
