A del sol with a totaled front and bad welding on it, was wondering if any of you guys knew how much it would cost to take it to an auto body repair and them replacing the whole front?

 

Alot of things are going to effect that, what exactly needs to be done, what parts do you need to buy, what parts you have, if the frame needs to be pulled, and realistically if the mechanic your bringing it to is good or not, what his rate is, and if its bad enough actually finding one to take on such a big project.

If everything from your firewall back is good your better off doing a full swap instead of fixing it. With that you can go 1 of 2 ways; find one in a junk yard with rear end damage or a blow engine with everything there and take the car pretty much, remove the front clip and have it put onto your car -OR- buy a jdm RHD front clip and have that put on, now you have a jdm engine and your RHD now.

Or more if you want the car clean again. Im having severl small dents and a full paint job and it running me around $4000 Im luckly my insurace paid half.

 

if its a super bad wrecked car, i would buy another shell thats in good shape and swap everything over.
