Radiator fan isn't turning on! how to do paperclip tech?
i tried googling it, but only found threads that linked the word paperclip n radiator..
anyways my motor is running fine, but last month the fan worked..now it's not turning on, on its own..
could you guys explain to me how to use the paperclip technique and what exactly does it check/tell me..
and also my upperhose (which i bought from autozone..) leaks a tiny bit, would this effect the cooling drastically at all? i'm planning to change my cooling system out anyways this summer with some samco/jhp hoses/ dual core radiator.
thanks ht.

pull the two connectors from the coolant temp switch on the back of the engine and connect them with wire, a paperclip, etc.
This circuit ONLY receives power while the key is turned to START and/or while the engine is running. If you want to wire a toggle switch, wire it into the same place as you are placing the paperclip. This way your switch isnt taking the draw from the fan (which can melt the switch) and the fan relay is
hope this helps
