YCP 84mm ITR spec , ring problem

i bought a set of ycp 84mm itr pistons and i ordered nippon b20z2 rings and the top ring is to thick to fit on the piston and then i tryed a oem b20b top ring and its to thick to and a b16a top ring fits in the top ring groove. any one got any ideas .

Do you have the top and bottom rings switched? just a thought.

no on the b20b b20z2 the oem specs are 1.2mm top and middle ring but on this ycp 84mm the top groove is 1.0mm and 2nd groove is 1.2mm .

Why wouldn't you order the rings recommend by the pistons manufacture in which you bought the pistons from.

every ycp kit ive bought has come with the wristpins locks and rings along with the pistons. although i will add the last set i purchased was a press fit and not a lock type pin.
