99 Accord 4dr 4cyl trouble starting
I have a 99 Honda Accord that has trouble starting the on 1st try. Sometimes it takes as many a 7 tries before it starts. It will start eventually but takes a number of tries to get it started. Any idea's. It runs very well after is it starts up.

Could be a faulty main relay. Could be a faulty ignition switch.
If, when the vehicle doesn't start, you turned the key to the 'ON' position and did NOT hear a click from behind the dash as usual when the check engine light went out, the main relay could be at fault.
If you can wiggle the key in the ignition while in the 'ON' position in a manner that would not normally cause the ignition to turn off but it DOES, the ignition switch could be at fault.

"Wiggle" meaning rotating the key slightly toward the 'OFF' position. Faulty ignition switches will be in the 'OFF' position when the key is in the 'ON' position because they get worn or contaminated.
