Okie dokie, so I've finally gotten around to doing this on my fiance's Del sol. And there's this funny little pin I need to remove in order to installed the new door connector. Old one is broken. Here's what I'm talking about:

If I can't figure it out I'm temped to cut that one out and use a small nut and bolt for the meantime.

 

I figured it out. Just needed to use a screw driver like a chisel and tap the pin out. Easy as pie.
