I use the longer cbr coils and ngk IK34 with no issues.you just have to modify the valve cover spark plug holes a bit so they can seat down futher to the sparkplug.

i know you deff need the long coils if your running aem stuff(twin fire epm aem long coils) thats what i was using for a few years but i swaped over to a m&w and t1 ignition kit i dont think i could use the long aem coils with them ...i guess the k coils are the next option?

I have pro14 aswell,i have used both coils and prefer the cbr coils over the aem coils.Someone has done testing with the aem coils vs cbr coils, the cbr coils ended up making more power and a smoother power curve.

The K's are 3 wire, but I don't think they're "smart coils." They just have the ICM built into the coil, but they don't have built-in dwell. Someone correct me, but I think the k series can be ran with a CDI box. Someone chime in on this. I would like to know.

By the way, CBR929RR Coils fit perfect for us. We have a small foam strip under the wire cover to keep the coils down. Everything is nice and snug

I think with the 3 wire coils you dont need a cdi box with the aem v2.they get wired straight to ecu.
