Default Car amp and speaker wiring questions

I have this amp http://ampguts.com/forum/hifonics-12...-olympus-2486/ and 2 pairs of 6.5 speakers at 4ohm and a 6ohm DVC sub running at 3ohm.

My question is... can I hook one pair of 6.5's into a 2ohm load and run it on channel 1, and the other pair on channel 2, then bridge channel 3 and 4 and run the single sub?

I'm trying not to use another amp just to run the sub. Don't want to spend more money.. just trying to use what I already have.

Thanks!

yes you can do that. However it might stress the amp a bit though...

Does the head unit have an internal amp and cross overs?

I personally would do 1 pair on the channels 1 and 2, Run the sub bridged on 3 and 4. and either omit the rear or... run the rear on the head unit and set the fader more towards the front. Assuming you have 3 sets of RCA Preouts. (F,R, SUB)

So you can use both RCA outputs and the wire output from the deck?
I'd always thought it's one or the other.

Thanks forth suggestions so far but I have another question.
If I were to run the rear speakers off the deck, wouldn't it be
underpowered since the deck wont have enough wattage to drive
The speakers to it's full potential?

You don't need a lot of power to rear speakers. Sound is supposed to come from infront of you not behind.
If you went to a concert where does the sound come from? There isn't someone playing infront of you and behind you. Rear speakers are there for rear passengers and poorly placed because they have no where else to put them.
