OK so my bro has a 2003 rsx w/ jdm ITR front clip. he had the OEM HID's but they burnt out, so now he wants aftermarket ones, but for some reason he doesnt know the bulb size and hes telling me there not H1??? is he right??

 

I have DC5R 02-04 headlights and it is h1 for both low and high beam.

 

x2, i had them, no longer have the car....

why switch to shitty aftermarket HID's...just tell him to get replacement bulbs for the OEM HID's

Have you guys actually changed the bulbs? They are not H1, they are D2R. Maybe you guys have fake DC5R lights???? (I dont believe the bulbs are interchangeable)

 

yup i just found out hes right, they are D2R and NOT H1

 

in the 4 years the lights have been in my old car they have not burned out....even still get new bulbs

 

DC5R headlights are different from the USDM type s.
They are built in OEM HID so I think the hid bulbs will last longer since they are OEM product.
