i am using a MSD blaster SS coil with MSD cap and rotor. However, i have OE Honda plug wires that after ~600 miles are brown in color. does this indicate that my wires are arcing?
i am suspicious because my tuner said i was getting ignition cut during the tuning process when we tried to turn the boost up from 12 psi to 16psi. after we turned up the boost, i was no longer able to make a complete pull and we turned boost back down to 12 psi and have not had any drivability problems since.
thanks in advance,
doug

Using a spray bottle with water you can spray the wires (kindof misting them). Do it in semi-darkness. You should see the arcing if there is any. I've heard people say this isn't a good method to use, but I've done it countless times without issue.
