Default Searched: econoline o2 sensor for honda

I recall seeing a thread about someone using an econoline oxygen sensor in their Honda.. Supposed to be $40 cheaper then then the one they sell for a Honda. A friend of mine is trying to save some money

I searched but cannot find it

Do you mean Econoline as in Ford?

You can get a Honda O2 sensor for as little as $35 on Ebay.

Agreed. Though I have found Amazon to be cheapest. To the OP: Either Denso or NTK made the OEM Honda sensor. Go to densoproducts.com (or the NTK site) and look up the sensor for the appropriate Honda engine. If you want, do the same for the Ford econoline. The prices will be very close. The Econoline probably will work in the Honda but you would have to splice wires, since the plug and harness on the two makes are probably different.

Go to Amazon and search for the Denso (or NTK) Honda sensor using the part number found above. I have bought three oxygen sensors (two Denso; one NTK) from Amazon in the last five years for my three different Hondas. All went fine. I could not get the sensor cheaper anywhere else.
